Welcome to Bright Start Therapeutic Services

Bright Start Therapeutic Services provides support for children who are presenting emotional or behavioural difficulties. We recognise children often find it difficult to express their thoughts, feelings and experiences and offer interventions which are largely child-led and which use play. We provide individual and group Play Therapy and therapeutic parenting programmes (Parent-Child Attachment Play / Heart to Heart sessions).

Since 2012 Bright Start Therapeutic Services has been working in schools across North Nottinghamshire and the surrounding areas, supporting children from 4 to 13 years old. We have delivered over 4000 therapy sessions and the majority of the children show positive changes following attending play therapy.
